Step 1 — Download the app
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
Search for AdBlocker Ultimate, or tap here to go directly to the app.
Tap Get to download and install it.
Step 2 — Enable the content blocker in Safari
Installing the app alone is not enough — you also need to enable AdBlocker Ultimate as a content blocker in your iPhone or iPad settings. Without this step, ads will not be blocked in Safari.
Open the Settings app on your device.
Scroll down and tap Apps, then tap Safari.
Tap Extensions (or Content Blockers on older iOS versions).
Find AdBlocker Ultimate and toggle it on.
Once enabled, Safari will use AdBlocker Ultimate to block ads and trackers automatically.
Step 3 — Verify protection is active
Open the AdBlocker Ultimate app. You should see a green indicator confirming Protection is active. If it shows as inactive, go back to Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions and make sure AdBlocker Ultimate is toggled on.
Troubleshooting
If ads are still appearing after installation:
Make sure you completed Step 2 above — the content blocker must be enabled in Safari settings.
Try reloading the page.
Restart Safari.
