AdBlocker Ultimate for Windows: Features

Full list of features in AdBlocker Ultimate for Windows, including system-level blocking, DNS protection, HTTPS filtering, and more.

System-level ad blocking

AdBlocker Ultimate for Windows works at the system level, not inside a single browser. This means it can block ads in all applications on your PC — browsers, email clients, media players, games, and messaging apps — overcoming the limitations of browser extensions.

Works across multiple applications

Protection is not limited to your browser. Any application on your PC that loads external content can benefit from AdBlocker Ultimate's filtering.

Network filtering

Blocks connections to ad servers at the network level before they are able to load, resulting in faster performance and lower data usage.

DNS protection

Blocks known malicious and advertising domains at the DNS level, providing an additional layer of protection before any connection is even established.

HTTPS filtering

Filters encrypted HTTPS traffic so that ads on secure websites — including YouTube and Facebook — can be blocked. This requires a locally trusted certificate, which AdBlocker Ultimate installs during setup.

Tracker and privacy protection

Blocks online trackers that monitor your browsing behaviour and build profiles about you without your consent.

Crypto miner protection

Stops scripts that attempt to use your device's processing power for cryptocurrency mining without your knowledge.

Malware and phishing protection

Blocks connections to domains known to distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks, keeping your data and device safer.

Per-application control

You can choose which applications are filtered and which are excluded — useful for banking apps or other security-sensitive software that may be incompatible with HTTPS inspection.
